Day 1: Dibrugarh Airport to Dibru-Saikhowa NP

Day 2: At Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
Explore the Dibru-Saikhowa NP. It is a riverine national park and covering area of 340 sq km. Famous for 36 species of Mammals, above 450 species of birds and rich bio diversity. Morning entry to Dibru-Saikhowa NP by boat and on foot. Evening back to Camp and overnight.


Day 3: At Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
Morning move to Borajan WLS. Birding and enjoy other wildlife. Post lunch boating at Maguri Motapung beel. This is a wetland famous for various species of residential and migratory birds.
Evening back to camp and overnight.


Day 4: Dibru-Saikhowa to Roing (5 hours)
Post breakfast move to Roing. Cross the Lohit river at Dhola ferry point and reach Roing. Roing is the headquarter of Lower Dibang valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Evening is free and overnight at Chelly lake guest house or traditional bamboo house in Roing.


Day 5: Roing-Myodia-Hunli (115 kms, 6 hours)
Morning explore Roing and Myodia and then Hunli. Visit the Mishimi tribal villages, enjoy the Mishimi hills, its flora and fauna. Stop at Myodia Pass. Then move to Hunli and overnight at Circuit house or same.


Day 6: Hunli to Parshuram Kund and Tezu
Morning move (146 km, 5 hours) to Parshuram Kund, it is a pilgrimage place for Hindus. Stop at Parshuram Kund and enjoy the beauty of Parshuram Kund. Then move to Tezu, headquarter of Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight in circuit house or hotel in Tezu.
Day 7: Tezu – Digboi

It is the largest of the Tai-Phake villages in Assam, boasting 70 odd families, which trace their ancestry to the great Tai race and of Buddhist Religion. The Namphake Buddhist Monastery, one of the oldest and most respected Buddhist Monastery in Assam. The villagers live in ‘Chang Ghar’, bamboo and wood houses built on raised platforms and are mostly engaged in Agricultures.
Evening back to Margherita, 56 km, and check in at Singpho Cottage Digboi Tourist Lodge or same. Over night at Margherita.


Day 3: Singpho tribal village, Tai-Phake tribal Villages, Tangsa Tribal Villages near Margherita
Early breakfast and move to Singpho Village, Tai-Phake Tribal Village and Tangsa Village. These all are nearby to each others. These all tribes are of Mangoloid origins. Post lunch move to Digboi. Attractions at Digboi: Attractions: The Centenary Oil Museum, World War II Cemetery, Digboi Oil Field etc.
Evening back to same accommodation in Margherita.


Day 4: Margherita- Namdapha National Park
Early breakfast and then move to Namdapha National Park via Miao of Arunachal Pradesh, 3 hours journey. Evening check in at Dewan Camp or same in Nampdapha National Park(depends on availability of accommodation). Overnight at Namdapha National Park.


Day 5: At Namdapha National Park
Whole day at Namdapha National Park. It is the largest National Park in Arunachal Pradesh and is a Project Tiger. Famous for dense forest and other flora & fauna. Actvities: Trekking in the dense forests, bird watching. Evening stay in the same accommodation. Overnight at Namdapha.


Day 5: Namdapha National Park-Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
Early breakfast and move to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. En route visit Digboi. Attractions at Digboi: Attractions: The Centenary Oil Museum, World War II Cemetery, Digboi Oil Field etc. Evening check in at Hotel Highway or Ballerina in Tinsukia or same or Eco Camp at Dibru-Saikhowa. Day 6: At Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
Early morning move to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Activities: Boating at Dibru River, Jungle walk, Bird watching and Gangetic Dolphin sighting. Evening come back to same hotel and overnight.

Day 4: Nameri National Park –Zero
After early breakfast move to Zero, 322 kms, 7 hours journey. It is the headquarter of Lower Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 5754 ft, it is home of the Apatani tribe and almost a level valley enclosed on all sides by fine-clad low stooping hill. Zero is famous for paddy and fish culture. Visit Nishi tribal villages en route. Over night at Zero.


Day 5: At Zero
Whole day sightseeing in and around Zero. Visit famous Hong Village (one of the largest tribal village in Asia) and other Apatani villages. Overnight at Zero.


Day 6: At Zero
Explore Ziro Limekin Nishi tribal villages. Whole day at Zero. Over night at Zero.


Day 7: Zero – Daporizo
After breakfast move to Daporizo, 175 km, 7 hours. It is the headquarter of Upper Subansiri district, located on the right bank of Subansiri river. Daporizo, altitude 2100 ft, is the junction of three important tribes: Hill Miris, Tagins and Adi-Gallongs. Enroute visit Nishi & Tagin villages. Night stay at Daporijo or Govt IB.


Day 8: At Daporizo
Whole day at Daporizo. Daporizo is ideal for trekking. Visit and explore ethnic Tagin country. Also visit cane suspension bridges at Daporizo. Overnight at Daporizo.


Day 9: Daporizo to Along
Drive to Along, 165 km, 7 hours. Along is the HQ of west Siang district, located on the south bank of river Siang. It’s the territory of the Adi tribe, one of the largest tribes in Arunachal Pradesh with lots of subgroups with an altitude of 1020 ft. The Adi tribe has different sub tribes like Adi (Galong, Miniyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori and Borak ) which differs from each other. Afternoon visit Kabo village.
Overnight at Along.


Day 10: At Along
Whole day at Along and visit Adi Villages. Overnight at Along.


Day 11: Along to Pasighat
Drive to Pasighat, 145 km, 5 hours journey. Pasighat is the HQ of west Siang distict, located on the right bank of river Siang. Pasighat is the oldest town of Arunachal. It is the land of Passi and Minnyiong tribes. En route enjoy the great view of Great Siang and Siyom confluence. Visit Minnyion villages enroute. Over night at Passighat.


Day 12: Pasighat- Dibrugarh
Move to Dibrugarh by crossing river on boat ( 6 hours). Evening check in hotel at Dibrugarh. Overnight at Dibrugarh.


Day 13: Dibrugarh-Namphake Village
Early breakfast and then move to Namphake village near Naharkatia town, 65 km, 2 hours.

They are famous for their craftsmanship in making woodcarvings, necklaces etc. The Mon landscape has the densest landscape in Nagaland, and the plains of Assam can be delightfully viewed from high up in the hills. Day 5: Mon to Mokokchung (via Assam, 221 km, 7 hours)
Morning move to Mokokchung, the home of Ao tribe of Nagaland t is situated at an altitude of 1325 metres above the sea level. Mokokchung town is the third most important urban hub in Nagaland. They are famous for their colourful dances. Overnight in Tourist lodge or village resort.


Day 6: At Mokokchung (Nagaland)
Explore Mokokchung. Visit Mopungchuket, perhaps the best kept village in Nagaland. Often referred to as Ao heartland, you can absorb yourself in tribal culture here. Every house opens onto a well tended garden, and the people are accustomed to visitors and welcome a chat. Also visit Longkham village. The villagers are very friendly in nature and they feel proud to showcase their rich handicrafts and handlooms to the visitors. Overnight in Mokokchung.


Day 7: Mokokchung to Touphema (Nagaland, 120 km, 5 hours)
Post breakfast move to Touphema. En route visit Lotha tribe near Wokha. Reach Touphema and check in village resort. Touphema is an Angami tribal village. Evening enjoy an Angami naga dance and also ethnic food with rice beer. Overnight in Touphema village.


Day 8: Touphema to Kohima (Nagaland, 41 km, 1 ½ hours)
Till lunch move around Touphema and post lunch move to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland located at an altitude of 1444 meters. Those who're interested in history will find a visit to the Kohima War Cemetery worthwhile. This cemetery is a tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives pushing back the Japanese army during World War II. The bodies of around 1,100 British and 330 Indian soldiers are buried there.

Day 9: At Kohima-Khonoma-Kohima (Nagaland)
Whole day explore Kohima and Khonoma village. Khonoma is an Angami village located 20 kms from Kohima. The inhabitants of Khonoma place a lot of emphasis on wildlife conservation, and have established The Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary. Then back to Kohima and have a local sight seeing with World War II cemetery.


Day 10: Kohima to Kaziranag national Park (Nagaland-Assam, 212 km, 6 hours )

Manas National park in Bhutan. The park is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Its core area is 500 Sq Km and records 60 species of mammals, 350 species of birds and its diversity of habitat is very high.
Distance from Guwahati to Barpeta Road by road is 142 (max 4 hours) Km and from Barpeta road to Mathanguri camp, 43 km which takes minm 2 hours because of bad road condition. It is not permitted to enter Manas after sunset. So it is advisable to start early from Guwahati.

It is the oldest park in assam covers an area of 430 Sq kms along the river Brahmaputra on the North and the Karbi Anglong hills on the South. Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site and a Tiger Project is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros. Other residents of the park include elephants, Indian bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon etc and a host of resident and migratory birds. Amongst the birds, the crested serpent eagle is common while palla's fishing eagle and gray headed fishing eagle are frequently seen. Others include the Great Adjutant Stork, crane, Bengal florican, bar-headed goose, whistling teal, and pelican.

The forest type of Dibru-Saikhowa comprises of semievergreen forests, deciduous forests, littoral and swamp forests and patches of wet evergreen forests.
Famed for Ferral horses, a total 36 species of mammals and above 400 species of birds have so far been recorded from the Dibru-Saikhowa National Park.

Explore Khonoma,  and peep into local lifestyles. Your local host will take you around the village, explain traditions and customs, show you traditional attires, demonstrate cooking styles, show how they practice agro- forestry. 20 types of paddy is grown at different altitudes along with Alder trees, which provide ecological balance.

Day 03: Khonoma - Touphema Tourist Village(drive)

Drive to Longkhum Village, 1600 m via Wokha 57 Kms, 1300m. Explore Lotha tribal village.  Longkhum was famous as a headhunting village of the Ao tribe.Explore village, visit museum, and interact with Ao tribals. Stay overnight at village guest house.

Day 05: Longkhum Village- Mopungchukit village(drive)

Kohima local tour: Visit the State Museum for an overview of tribal lifestyle. At the Handloom and Handicraft sales emporium we can do some shopping.
